I am currently a research assistant working in Dr. Brittany Travers’s, Motor and Brain Development Lab. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2019 with a bachelor of science in neurobiology and am currently on a pre-medical track. I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and have been living in Madison for the past 19 years. I am a bilingual first-generation Polish-American. I love to play sports, stay active, and enjoy the great outdoors. I have a younger brother who was diagnosed with regressive autism at the age of 1.5 years old. My brother has been my inspiration in life to pursue a career in the medical field and to succeed in helping and caring for people around me. This is my fourth year as a part of the Motor and Brain Development Lab, and I am truly grateful to have met all of these incredible participants and families. I am so thankful for this opportunity and cannot wait to learn more from this experience.
