My name is Kailey Sabel, and I am a 2nd year graduate student in the UW-Madison MSOT program. I first became involved in the lab three years ago as an undergraduate student, and I’m very excited to serve as a project assistant for the NARSAD study this year. It has been an incredible experience working in a team of highly dedicated individuals towards our goal of enhancing the quality of life for individuals with ASD. My favorite aspect of our research is how well we get to know our participants and their families. It is rewarding to see how our participants’ motor abilities and daily living skills develop over the course of our studies. In addition to working in the lab, I enjoy exploring Madison, being outside, cooking, traveling, and reading.
