Juliette Peña

Biography

Hi, my name is Juliette Peña and I am a first-year student in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at UW–Madison. Before coming to the Midwest, I graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas with my B.A in Kinesiology and then taught early childhood education for three years. In my free time, I love to read, bake, embroider, and play volleyball with friends! As a prospective practitioner, I aim to build a career as a school-based occupational therapist. Within this research team, I am excited to continue my educational journey and learn how to better empower children of all abilities to pursue agency and cultivate confidence in their home and learning environments.
