Pearl Kler

My name is Pearl Kler, and I am a first-year student in the Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at UW-Madison. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago. My research interests lie at the intersection of occupational justice, health equity, and neurological function. I am particularly drawn to understanding how neurological mechanisms impact motor skills and daily functioning in children. I hope to leverage my experience in the Motor Brain and Development Lab to enrich my future career as an occupational therapist, with a focus on hand therapy or neurology. Outside of lab, I enjoy making art, baking, exercising, and exploring new places through travel!
